Macassan's. This restaurant would not be out of place in central Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Brisbane or Adelaide - We are Darwin locals and this restaurant far outweighs any others in the Territory. We had dishes from across the entire menu - of particular mention; anchovy and parmesan bread, pineapple and chilli oysters, Granny Smith apple and dill oysters (NZ oysters none the less!) Now the duck - that chef is the duck whisperer! Some of the best duck that we have ever had and we've been right through Asia and China. We had to indulge in the dessert menu - chocolate creme brûlée was delicious, but the edible stones - now that was amazeballs. Try it - you won't be disappointed. We decided to share a cocktail to top it all off - death by chocolate is a definite winner. What made this glorious food and drink even better was the service staff - respectful and efficient, full of smiles and friendly.
